Tuesday, December 19, 2006 (PART 2):  Another clip from Clerks II.   Got Christ?  Boredom's the first step on the road to relapse, says Jay.

Here Randall debates coworker Elias on whether or not the Transformers cartoon was a sleight against God:

Tuesday, December 19, 2006:  Lord Jesus, I thank you for Sue.  Sue, happy birthday!!!  ILU!

Here's a clip from Clerks II in which Jay (of Jay and Silent Bob) explains how he can sell weed and stay sober through the power of Christ.  Then he tells his customers to read the Bible:

Sunday, December 17, 2006:  Here's an introduction into who Satan is, how Satan works in everyone's life, but most importantly showing that destroying your soul is such a way of life for Satan that he'll distract you with whatever works.  He's a liar, and his job is to deceive you into a sense of security when in reality your life or your soul is in eternal peril.  Satan also fills up your daily life with unimportant things like tv, games, chores, distractive people, and work to such an overwhelming degree as to disconnect you from God, life, and peace in your daily life.  He can appear as addictions, aberrant emotional behaviors or addictions, or as people and/or angels of light.  Satan was God's number one angel until he fell from grace, continued to fall, and never returned.

The music video below is called "Liar" by the Henry Rollins Band (thank you so much for the music videos Rose!  Mwaah!)  When I first saw this video in the early 1990s, I only saw it as a bad boy slimy guy video.  But now I see it as a perfect metaphor for how Satan works his way into our lives, and as far as I know the lyrics are not gender-specific to the song.  The video imagery in the music video itself seems to lend credence or validity to this point (when he sings the chorus "I'm a liar", he is painted red, which is typically how Satan is propagated in today's society; also, there is always fire burning in the background as he sings the chorus, and one of the lines is "I'll burn your soul").  So, for the person I spoke with at the party this weekend who was determined to burn in hell for her beliefs even if God were to tell her they were wrong, here's an introduction to Satan as envisioned by the Henry Rollins Band (whether they know it or not)...the song is "Liar"  Enjoy.

Saturday, December 9, 2006:  Forgive me, I have been lax in my website duties.  I saw Clerks II, and will include some clips from that movie here on the site soon.  Also, expect the look of the page to change...I am thinking out how to improve the site with better organized areas and hopefully a search engine for the site (I'll need to research that).  So, bear with me through the changes.

This past Thursday the ministers and I were supposed to come up with a 10 minute speech on Baptism, so here is an outline of what I came up with:

I.  Baptism as defined by the dictionary:

    A. Baptism (defined):

        1) A Christian sacrament marked by symbolic use of water to rid the recipient of original sin and resulting in admission into Christianity.

        2)  A ceremony, trial, or experience by which one is initiated, purified, or given a name.

        3)  A submergence in Spirit or purification by Spirit.

    B. "Baptism of fire" (defined):

        1) A soldier's first combat experience.

        2) A severe ordeal experienced for the first time

    C. Baptize: (defined)

        1) To cleanse or purify

        2) To initiate

        3) To administer baptism

    D. Why Use Water and Fire for Baptism?

        1) Both water and fire are agents or catalysts used in the purification of people, places, and things according to Numbers 31:23 .

                a) Water: cleans (under the Law it was necessary to wash things or yourself to be purified from defilement and or diseases like leprosy), it brings life (water sates our thirst and without water we die in days; also, water makes seeds sprout and grow into food and materials for our needs).  The Great Flood purified the world by water.  God used water to destroy Egypt's grip of bondage/slavery on the Jews.  The Jews had to cross the river Jordan (a body of water) to be purified again before entering the Promised Land, and these same waters purified the minds of the people in the sense that it was reinforced in their heads and the heads of the survivors, "There is a God, and nothing can reckon with God."

                b) Fire: mostly purifies metals, but in the spirit world, God is a consuming fire, Jesus will baptize us with fire (God or the Holy Spirit), visible evidence of the Holy Spirit was as tongues of fire resting above the heads of the apostles (Acts 2:3).  Fire purifies by destroying impurities: examples Sodom and Gomorrah (two cities leveled and destroyed by fire from the sky (meteors or volcanic rocks, either way sent by God) (Genesis 19:20-30), and in the final days fire will destroy most life on earth (Revelation 8:1-13)

---------------------------------------

***Note: Before I go on with what I came up with, I spoke with the pastor to review everything I had come up with, and he wanted me to know the official 4 Baptisms recognized by the apostles: 1) Noah, 2) Moses, 3) John (repentance), 4) Peter (Acts 2:38 repentance and rebirth)****

----------------------------------------

Continuing what I came up with...mostly me jotting ideas down as the popped into my head, then getting the supporting verses, I may as well sort the info here before posting, so it's not as disjointed as my notes:

II. Types of Baptisms found in the Holy Bible

    A. Baptism unto Noah-  Out of the entire world, only 8 people survived the flood released by God almighty to purify the earth from all the evils spawned by not only man, but also by the power men were endowed with when the sons of God mated with the earthly women.  Water destroyed to purify.  8 people overcame the water, saved by righteousness (Genesis chapters 6-9)

    B. Baptism unto Moses-

        1)  Moses led the Jews out of bondage (slavery) in Egypt by parting the Red Sea for safe passage for the Jews, and then closed the sea on Pharaoh's army as they chased after the Jews. (Exodus Chapter 14)  So, water saved from bondage by destroying the evil, again.

        2) Not even Moses made it to the Promised Land, the land promised by God almighty as an heritage for the Jews, but Moses DID get to see if from a mountain peak before he died.  The whole lot he took out of Egypt had to die before God let the Jews into the Promised Land (Deuteronomy chapter 34)...that means only the young next generation was allowed in...again, God purifying the people before starting them anew elsewhere.  Point is, they had to cross the Jordan river in order to get into the Promised Land.  The Jews were the seed and the Jordan river was the means of watering the seed of the promised generation.  Also, this could be symbolic of feet washing as well...walking across the river is sure to wash your feet before entering the new land of promise (Joshua 1:1-8), also for another mention of the baptism unto Moses              (1 Corinthians 10:2-4).

    C. Baptism unto John- Repentance for the Remission of Sins (Mark 1:4-5)  (Jesus was baptized this way)

      1) People were baptized in water

        2) They confessed their sins before being dunked

    D. Baptism unto Peter (Acts 2:38) - Repentance and Spiritual Rebirth into Lord Jesus the Christ (you become one in/with the body of Christ)

        1) Baptize in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

           2) You are buried to sin (going into the water) (Colossians 2:12), and

           3) You are born a new creature (Galatians 6:15), no longer bound by death in sin (spiritual rebirth or better put: actual spiritual resurrection

            4) You can now have the opportunity to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (God himself living inside you, interacting with you on a personal level)...but you don't have it yet...you must either tarry for the Holy Spirit or a minister or qualified pastor must lay hands on you and the Holy Spirit will be upon your body. (Acts 8:13-16)

------------------------------------

Okay, that covers the technically accepted forms or instances of baptisms.  But here's more of the stuff I found that qualify as either interesting to know, or needs to be looked into more:

-------------------------------------

    E. Other "Baptisms":

        1) Baptism unto Elias (aka Elijah)-  Elias/Elijah sealed up the sky for 3 years, letting no rain fall in Israel, causing a drought for that time period. (James 5:17 and 1 Kings17:1-3)

          2)  Baptism of Fire (Matthew 3:11) (defined in dictionary as 1: Soldier's first combat experience or 2: A severe ordeal experienced for the first time)

                a) Jesus' Baptism of Fire- the abuse and death he must go through, by the very people he came down to earth to save, will likely be God's first taste of death, so this may better be named "Jesus' baptism of death", since God, the source of life, has never been dead.  Jesus makes mention of this in Luke 12:49-13:5 and it foreshadows the kind of death he must endure.

                b) Elijah also brought down fire from heaven on a few occasions: once to prove his God was the real God and disprove the false prophets he called fire down from heaven to consume a water-drenched meat sacrifice (1 Kings 18:20-38), which in turn was surrounded by a trough of water, like a mote;  the other 2 times it was to consume the 50 men and soldiers sent by the king to talk to him...each time killing 50 men for a total of 100 men killed.  (2 Kings Chapter 1) and (Luke 9:54)

                c) Baptism of the Holy Ghost (aka "Baptism of Fire") (again Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8 tells us Jesus will baptize us with the Holy Ghost).  God is described as a consuming fire (as we saw with Elijah's accounts), but also describing the look of God and sometimes angels (Daniel 10:5-12).  Another way to receive the Holy Ghost: laying on of hands by qualified minister or qualified pastor (Acts 8:14-17).  Jesus tells us in the gospel of John 3:1-8 that in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven, you must be born again of water and of spirit, so getting the gift of the Holy Ghost/Spirit is a requirement for getting into heaven, and you can't get it until you've first been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Also in Acts 2:1-5 we see an account of the Holy Spirit visible as tongues of flame that came down and rested above the heads of the apostles when they received the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.

        3)  Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:16-20) as commanded by Jesus.  I believe that means initiating the world into the laws of the Father (Old Testament Law and commandments), the Son (Jesus's laws and commandments), and the Holy Spirit (gifts/talents/powers and abilities you receive when you get the gift of the Holy Spirit).

        4)  Baptism unto the angel in the pool of Bethesda for healing (John 5:1-8)

    F. The Benefits of Baptism

        1)  If we believe and are baptized, we are saved (Mark 16:16-18 shows the signs that follow believers)

           2)  Purification and cleansing in the spirit world.

           3)  Initiation and assimilation into the Body of Christ.  You become inseparable like a blood cell...but beware: if you become "cancerous" to the body of Christ you will be removed.

           4) You now may receive the gift of the Holy Spirit by either

                    a) tarrying for the Holy Spirit (a sort of group chanting meditation using Jesus)

                    b) or by the laying on of hands by a qualified minister or qualified pastor.

           5)  God will no longer tune out your prayers.  God will tune INTO your prayers will answer you in ways you won't imagine or believe until it happens to you.

            6)  You have become born of water (one of the prerequisites for entry into heaven)  (John 3:5)

            7)  You have what it takes to be born of spirit now (receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit...baptism is a pre-requisite for having the Holy Spirit alive, active  and able to communicate to you from within you.

            8) You have been baptized into one body (1 Corinthians 12:13) and that body is Christ (Galatians 3:27)

-------------------------------------

And to conclude here, since I couldn't think where to put this tidbit of info...here's an example from the Bible of an unusual experience occurring from a baptism.  Philip was baptizing a eunuch and the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away to another place almost instantly  (Acts 8:36-40).

And that concludes everything you never wanted to know about Baptism.  Now GET BAPTIZED in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and save yourselves!

Wednesday, November 22, 2006:  Happy Thanksgiving.  I'm thankful for Jesus, God and his blessings in my life and how he makes himself known to me, my family friends and loved ones (especially Sue), my new job as a power-washer and handyman helper (a job that fit all the qualifications for my twisted mind: work outdoors mostly, get home early, cash, learn to fix things, get to powerwash...a very pleasant meditative thing to do), and my pets.  Thank you God for calling me back into your life and giving me those things I needed to make my way towards you!!!!  What are you thankful for, people?

Oh, yeah, I'm also thankful for Family Guy.  Now before anyone gets upset with these trivial video clips, remember God has a sense of humor only it's so far above us most of us miss it.  Also, these videos all had their part in luring me back into a life with Jesus, so I post them.  Enjoy with an open and peaceful mind.

More Family Guy humor.  In this clip God is flirting with a girl in a bar, showing off with lightning, things go wrong and hilarity happens:

And here's another one.  Same theme, but in a bowling alley:

Third time's a charm.  Family Guy: Quantum Jesus.  Peter Griffin goes door to door as a Jehovah's Witness, but bungles the story of Jesus when someone actually wants to hear what he has to say:

Thursday, November 2, 2006:  A lot of churches really despise Halloween because of its pagan roots and the fact that it celebrates the dead.  Catholics are probably less concerned about Halloween, but many churches (though they despise celebrating the dead on Halloween) love to celebrate "All Saints Day" on November 1, a celebration or remembrance of all past saints of the church...named saints by vote and confirmation by pope...who have died.  The Apostolic church denies the leadership of the pope and calls all members of the church saints...not just those appointed saints by vote.  The Apostolic church looks down on both Halloween and ignores All Saints Day.

Though churches frown on Halloween, calling it "Satan's holiday", I say God's spirit already conquered Satan's holiday, and rather than frown on the holiday the churches should take that time to promote the Bible as the "Greatest Horror Book of All Time".  Think about it, it's about good vs. evil, powerful supernatural forces, demons, possessions, punishment, enslavement, eternity in hell and the lake of fire for not following certain rules, Almighty God and his peace and love and strength of his wrath for getting on his wrong side, light vs. dark, self sacrifice to save others, etc...  The Holy Bible has EVERYTHING a great horror story or movie has and MORE.  Jesus is the original zombie, the walking dead, the first though dead to come back to life of his own accord, not because someone else had a hand in it (remember Jesus is God in the body of a man).

Though the roots of Halloween may be derived from a mix of pagan customs, witchcraft, celebrations of dead or evil spirits, etc, the fact is that nowadays the spirit of trust overcomes these roots.  We entrust strangers to give candy to our children when they come knocking on the door threatening "trick or treat" (meaning if they don't get candy, the house is in danger of getting "tricked" (egged, toilet papered, etc)).  I would guess that about 95% of kids don't mean it when they say "trick or treat"...they will not pull a trick on the house...there are the small percentage of kids that will, but I bet that percentage is the same as the percentage of bullies or brats that would pull a prank anyway.  So, the threat is empty and not even a threat really.

The other spirit of Halloween is the spirit of idolatry...kids and adults dress themselves up as either a favorite character, actor, famous person, dead person or spirit, etc.   Churches teach that when you do this, you tell God you don't want him at that time.  I say what's wrong with dressing up for a party?  As long as you aren't "worshiping" the thing you dress as in your heart, that is.  People buy their costumes usually, so that feeds the idolatry machine.   Disciples of Jesus (I don't want to use the term "Christian" because of the negativity the term inspires in people that aren't followers) can overcome this by making their own costumes, and being people respected from the Bible.  Or just dress like people from times past, or something else.  The way I see it and think it is that people don't dress up in costumes to worship the characters they dress as, but rather to escape being themselves for a short time...a vacation away from self for a brief time.  What's wrong with that?  You have to step outside yourself sometimes to find out who you really are or what you really want to be.  So, there's another positive thing about dressing up that I can think up...another opportunity for self-reflection (self-reflection being an important message throughout the Bible).

The point of this ramble is that in America, celebrating Halloween is the norm for the majority of the people, and though its roots may be non-biblical that is no reason to ignore the holiday and put people off with your religious beliefs.  Instead, take Halloween as an opportunity to teach others about Jesus, and promote the Bible as the "greatest TRUE horror story ever told, given to man by God".  God needs good marketing people out in the world to help sell Jesus.  Be "fishers of men" and snag the unbelievers with proper bait!!!

---------------------------------------------------

Here's a clip from Fight Club that sticks out in my head.  In it Tyler Dirden is trying to make his "understudy" understand and KNOW that one day he WILL die, just like everyone else will die one day.  His point was "you need to live like everyday is your last day".  I say, if you can endure the pain he goes through here, then do it, because if you end up in the lake of fire (where all whose names are NOT written in the Book of Life will end up...all those without Jesus and who have not repented...click on the upper right hand icon on this webpage of the man on fire and read for yourself) that pain will only be a taste of the pain in store for your body and soul considering there your whole body and soul will be on fire.  This is why you need Jesus. (This may take a while to load):

Sunday, October 15, 2006:  Weird But True Baptism stories from the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (504 Little York, Houston, TX, Phone: 713-742-9388).  Under oath, Apostle M. Augustine declares the following stories are true and if he be lying he would go blind in one eye and deaf in one ear for one week.  Also, there are witnesses in each case listed, other than the apostle/pastor and the person being baptized.

Preface: when you get baptized according to Acts 2:38, and get in the water, this symbolic act of your own death to sin and resurrection to life everlasting as a child of God will kill any spirits attached to you at the time.

Any affliction you suffer, any pain you feel, any addiction you have, any uncontrollable impulse and mood are spirits.  If you have not been baptized and have EVER touched anybody, you carry demonic spirits like dogs carry fleas.  When you get baptized these spirits die and go to the abyss, a place of darkness and torment and heat in an environment which has no water.

This is everybody's lot that does not have Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who have not repented.  This is why you would be considered "condemned to death".  When you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, he pays the debt you owe God...which is your death.  He's paid your debt of dying, and you are now a child of God and will have everlasting life assuming you don't die in sin.  Those people who don't have this will ultimately go to the Lake of Fire, a place worse than the abode of the dead, eternally and immeasurably separated from God and ignored by Him, where there is no light, yet it is hotter than the current abode of the dead (hell).

So the following are stories of the spirits dying off after each person's baptism, and the effects it had on the people that got baptized.  Many times the mere act of baptizing a person can drain the energy out of the person performing the baptism for minutes, hours, or days.

Spirits Coming Out of People / Spirits Dying in Baptism

1) Water in baptismal tub turned black after person was dunked.  Water cleared after closing and reopening lid to baptismal tub.

2) Water in baptismal tub turned white after person was dunked.  Water cleared after closing and reopening lid.

3) Water started boiling after the baptism.

4) After dunking, person may have difficulty breathing or moving while spirit comes out of them.  This can go on for minutes and has gone on for up to 4 hours.  I have witnessed a person having difficulty breathing for a couple of minutes after dunking.

5) After dunking, an extraordinarily long piece of mucous ("like a long snake") came out of a person's mouth into the baptismal tub, and rapidly squiggled around through the water and finally disappeared from the tub.

6) A pale person's complexion once turned bright red and appeared to drain out as if there were a hole in the person's feet...meaning it looked as if his normal color came back into the skin beginning at the forehead and continuing in a clearly contrasted line with the beet red color down to the feet.

7) Just before being dunked, an extraordinarily large bug ("the size of a lemon") came out of the man's nose.  The pastor had never seen a bug that looked like that in his life.

8) While baptizing a person at the beach (Galveston), the person being baptized disappeared from the water and was missing for 3 hours.  The pastor called the police after being unable to locate the person in the water.  The person was found 3 hours later at a distance of a 20 minute drive down the road.

9) The pastor and another person from the church gave a ride to a person that they were bringing in to be baptized after doing their street ministry.  They were talking to the person the whole time they were driving to the church.  Just as they got to the church and got out to open the door for the person, the stranger or the homeless person had disappeared from the back seat (you may be entertaining angels unawares), and the bags he had gotten from them from the street ministry were gone too.  There is no way he could have gotten out of the car without their knowledge or without their hearing him exiting the vehicle.

Here's some more humor from Family Guy:  Obnoxious New York tourists are in Quahog to see the leaves turning color in autumn.  The Griffin family is at church as the guest priest from New York does the opening prayer and a fight breaks out in the congregation.

Friday, October 6, 2006:  I'm going to try to embed a couple of clips from Family Guy here...more humor.

1) Jesus as Hulk: Peter Griffin talks at Mr. Weed's funeral about the Christian faith.

2) Jesus and Vishnu:  After a wonderful night out with Bill Gates, Ted Turner, and his own step-father, Peter Griffin gives Jesus thanks for his step-father liking him.  Jesus yells down from heaven that it wasn't him, but is interrupted by Vishnu telling him he's used to not receiving the thanks.

Sunday, October 1, 2006:  Today in church I spoke about how "the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord" and how you are given a certain amount of lifeforce...when you live right by God, you should live to be about 120yrs old...when you sin, or do things not good for your body, mind or soul, you are deducting from that lifeforce; so, don't waste it, beware of the cost of those bad things you do, and make sure you plan ahead...here are my notes:

"Lamp from the Lord"  = "Spirit" in the King James version and "breath of man" in the New American Bible (St. Joseph Edition)...Proverbs 20:27

Proverbs 20:27:  King James version reads: "The spirit of man is the candle (noted as "lamp") of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly."

Proverbs 20:27: New American Bible Saint Joseph Edition reads: "A lamp from the Lord is the breath of man; it searches through all his inmost being."

Therefore "lamp of the Lord" or "candle" of the Lord" = "the spirit of man" or "the breath of man" or better yet "life of man".

John 8:12 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."  Therefore, Jesus = "light" or "breath" or "life" of the world.

Matthew 6:22-23 "22 The light (noted as "lamp") of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single (noted to mean "healthy"), thy whole body shall be full of light.  23 But if thine eye be evil (noted to mean "unhealthy"), thy whole body  shall be full of darkness.  If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" Therefore the "light or lamp of the body" = "eyes".  Makes me think of the spirit I was brought to confront in one of my visions, that had the darkness gloss over his eyes like the oil alien from X-Files.

Matthew 25:1-13 tells the parable of the 10 virgins with the lamps, awaiting the bridegroom (Jesus/salvation).  Five were wise and took oil with them for the journey to the bridegroom, and five were foolish, and did not bring extra oil.  I believe oil in this parable refers to life/spirit of people.  In verse 9 the wise virgins tell the unwise virgins they can't spare their oil, and told the unwise ones to "go to those that buy and sell, and buy for yourselves."  I believe "those that buy and sell" refer to doctors and healers and other spiritual sorcerers who will sell you some health for some money, unlike God who gives healing freely to those that ask Him.   The unwise virgins left to buy more oil, but the bridegroom arrived, let in the wise virgins, and shut the door (to heaven), and would not let the other virgins in when they came back and knocked.  Therefore, if you know you are not living properly, take measures to ensure you have the drive to keep going in life and stay in line with what Jesus teaches.

Finally, 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says "Quench not the Spirit."  In other words, keep yourself alive.  Don't let the world bring you down, because Satan and his demons want to rob you of this drive to live and serve God, and they will attack you with depression, diversions, deceptions, low self image, make friends want to leave you, etc...keep going, and keep looking to God and God will walk you through it safe and sound, but only through Jesus.

Wednesday, September 17, 2006:  I was checking my website stats today and checked on a website that had visited mine, and found a writers' web site with a user named "Mountain Bill" that has MY webpage listed as his webpage.  Mountain Bill is a LIAR if he claims this webpage you are reading is his own work.  Mountain Bill's site is at the following address: http://www.lit.org/author/MountainBill

 -------------------------

Another curiosity in the stats was a search string: "swingers for Jesus".  Led me to someone's blog on myspace who happens to be a swinger and a fan of Jesus, and he wants to start his own website "Swingers for Jesus".  May Jesus guide you and help you with that, and read the Word carefully.  A couple of years ago I would have been rooting for you even more so...but I've come to understand the Bible differently and fear that behavior, since it is sexual immorality (not my words, but God's words in the New Testament: Matthew 15:19 , Acts 15:20 , Romans 13:13 , well there are so many just go to the search results for "sexual immorality" on Biblegateway.com) and fornication...However, the first time I read the Bible, it was the New American Standard St. Joseph's edition, and I clearly recall a verse in there (in the Old Testament I believe, and I bet it was either in the book of Wisdom or Sirach, neither of which is in the King James version, which I am currently reading...but I have not made it to the books of wisdom in the King James version yet) that states clearly that what a man and his wife do sexually is their own business...if you agree on the sexual things you do together.  If I find that verse, I will post it.  But the above verses on sexual immorality clearly prohibit orgies and sexual immorality...now we have to define each one.  Go read the dictionary.

I am currently learning the Apostle's Doctrine and I am learning it from a very strict/ascetic sect.  I am quite liberal, having been brought up Catholic...I'm not used to the hellfire and damnation sermons EVERY week, but it sure scares you into obedience faster, and that's where I'm torn.  Catholics are universally tolerant, yet they preach the same things as this apostolic sect.  Yet the apostolic sect makes a point to preach the hellfire and damnation and repent and be obedient or you ARE going to hell and the lake of fire after that.  I KNOW they are incorrect about some of their doctrines...I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive they are...for example, when I had my divine experience, I was wearing a gold chain necklace with my crucifix on it, or maybe I had ripped off the gold Jesus from the gold cross (I don't remember)...the point is the apostolic sect believes it's a sin to even wear gold; and they think God steps out of you if you are filled with the Holy Spirit and put on gold.

Also, the apostolic sect is strict on sex...no oral sex and no anal sex.  I can do without performing anal sex, but I'm all for oral.  Sorry, but that's just a personal preference and might be one of the last things I'll have to give up one day, but who knows.  I hope God makes it clear to me which teachings of their's is right and which ones are wrong, and make me able to point it out to them if it's His will.

Wednesday, September 13, 2006:  This is what I posted on my blog on MySpace today:

So, I'm walking my dogs today and find this on the parking lot in front of the Payless in the shopping center...my dogs love scrounging for bones there...anyway, here's what I find:

Found just weeks after finishing reading the book/play.  Just one of the NUMEROUS coincidences that I notice in my life.

It's these coincidences that let me know God is out there and aware of me, and me aware of Him.

Saturday, September 9, 2006:   Back in June I went to Sacramento on vacation, and while there performed a laying on of hands on Jeff, a friend of my friend Lisa, because he had pain in his shoulders.  Entry from June 20, 2006.  Well, about a month or so ago, he finally saw some specialists, and they found he DOES have cancer and that there was a tumor in his shoulder.  His prognosis was 3-6 months to live.  About a week or two ago, Lisa called with another update on Jeff.  After receiving whatever therapy he accepted (I believe it was radiation therapy), and after seeing how quickly the tumor was vanishing, they changed his prognosis to 5-10 years!  What a blessing for Jeff!   Thank you for responding to the numerous prayers, Jesus, and thank you for your intercession.  Jeff, go get baptized...you've just received a few more years to live...give thanks to God.

And on a lighter note, this was a website Jenny sent to me a few years back, and I don't remember if I ever got it on this site, so here it is:   Klingons for Christ!  I thought it was a great concept!  This is not the original site...the original one doesn't seem to be working anymore.

.

Again, ANOTHER scripture on weather modification by man (via God) in the Holy Bible:  James 5: 17-18 speaks of Elias the prophet that prayed and sealed the sky for 3 years...already mentioned on this site (August 29, 2006), but it is still another proof (aka supporting scripture).  This the third entry on weather modification.  The entry for 8/29/06 lists another scripture from the book of Samuel and links to the original post (September 27, 2005) on weather modification.

Monday, September 4, 2006:   Some words of wisdom from the book of James in the New Testament:

"Faith without works is dead." (James 2:14-26)  Gives some very direct advice regarding what it means to do "works" in our daily lives...still applicable today.  For example, verse 16 tells us that just blessing a person with words is not enough if they are naked or hungry...what did your words do to help their situation?  Nothing, is what it says.

How would this relate today?  Does anyone you know lack in something that you might have an abundance of and could spare to give them?  Or do you have a job, and see the homeless person that lives under the highway bridge on your way to work?  Are you praying for that person?  That's nice of you, but what did you do to help that person really?  Give them spare change?  That's something...that's a work.  Did you roll down the window and say "Hi" to them and wish them a nice day or just keep your window rolled up and your eyes averted from the person?  The Bible tells us that whatever you did to that person, you did to Jesus.  Here's an idea:  Why not roll down your window, and ask them what they are in need of personally?  For example, homeless people can always use and will likely always be grateful for new socks, underwear, pants, shoes, nice clothes, a hot home-made meal, deodorant, colognes or perfumes, etc.  Why not ask them what they need, other than money?

-----------------

Other verses of wisdom from the book of James:

James 1:13-15  "13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:  14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust (desires), and enticed.  15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

James 1:27  "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

James 1:19-20  "19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:  20 For the wrath of man worketh not (does not produce) the righteousness of God." (in other words, listen to what other people are saying or what's being said to you by God through the Bible; let the other person finish their story or don't interrupt them until they feel like they have satisfactorily told you everything before you speak or defend your side or viewpoint or situation, for example.  And finally, don't let people push your buttons to piss you off, upset you, or stress you out...keep a level head.

James 1:22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

James 2:8  "If ye fulfill the royal law according to scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:"

James 1:26  "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." (Religious people should hold their tongue by not cursing, cussing, fueling a fight with your words, etc. and watch what they say at all times (be responsible in speech...don't mislead people purposefully for example)).

James 2:12 "So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. (Say what you mean and mean what you say; and if you say you are going to do something you should do it...in other words don't make empty promises to people)

James 2:13 "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment."  (in other words, Love thy neighbor as thyself...treat others as you would want them to treat you and that's how you'll be treated...karma, so to speak)

Tuesday, August 29, 2006:   Yet another passage from the bible in which weather is manipulated by man via God:

1Samuel 12:16-18: "16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes.  17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the Lord, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking you a king.  18 So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel."

(The passage above refers to a time in Jewish history in which the people did what they thought was right in their own eyes (much like our American society).  The people are ruled by judges (or leaders in the faith) at that time, and when one of their great judges is old and his kids turn out to be dishonest judges, the people ask Samuel (the old judge at the time) to appoint them a king to rule over them, rather than God.  That is the evil spoken of.)

Anyway, back to weather modification, refer to the September 27, 2005 entry on weather modification and manipulation and how man is trying to control it now, including a link to a government track website showing US legislation regarding weather modification.

Thursday, August 17, 2006:   I went to church Sunday and three men got called out to be ministers and to receive their minister license right there on the spot.  One man got called out to receive an evangelist license.  I got called out to be a minister.  The pastor said, "If it were up to me, I wouldn't have given the minister license to ANY of you.  But I'm being obedient to God."  That was cool.  Call me Minister Marques.

Thursday, August 10, 2006:   This has been in circulation since April of this year (The House of Yahweh Newsletter April 2006 Special Issue).

I have to wonder...is this for real?  Did God (Yahweh is the name of God the Father...Yahweh = "I am who am") really tell him this?  Or is this warning this guy's way of setting up his retirement...if the nuclear war doesn't happen, he will have become yet another "End of the World" ministers whose ministry is destined to either end right then and there or soon after.  Let's hope this is the case, and not nuclear war.

You can get more info by emailing info@propheticword.com and you can also get their newsletters free if you choose.

All I know about this group is they air a show on HMS, they seem to come from a strict Judaeo-Christian sect that stresses the law of Moses and Yahweh.  They only briefly mention Jesus (Yahshua in Aramaic or maybe Hebrew) in the newsletter in closing.  This is odd in that Jewish culture sooooo honors the name of God and soooooo wishes to honor the commandment of not using God's name in vain that they usually do not mention the name Yahweh, and some Jews even will take the "o" out of "God" so as to spell it "Gd" so as not to use His name in vain.

I'm not pointing fingers with this info, merely bringing up an interesting point.  In just the first 3 paragraphs they use the name "Yahweh" at least 6 times.  In the four pages the name is plastered all over almost every paragraph.

Yet I find it frightening that we've just begun picking a fight with Iran for its nuclear program, while Israel began fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, and now have been shooting missiles at each other and have begun ground fighting over the past month, in a seemingly escalating fashion.  Iran supports Syria (and they are neighboring countries...border to border), which supports Hezbollah in Lebanon (bordering Syria).

I watched John Hagee's show that blended End Times Prophecy with what sounds like conspiracy theory, but he teaches it clearly and shows what each nation in the prophetic books is called in our time.  Here's a link with more info on a book he wrote, Jerusalem Countdown.  Basically, though, he claims the above-mentioned countries (Islamic-ruled, Iran, Syria, Jordan, etc) are supported (Iran at least) by Russia, and that they will eventually unite in a war against Israel to eradicate the world of them (much like Hitler), but before that time the following takes place:

1) The antichrist will be the one that makes a 7 year peace plan via the European Union in the United Nations

2) Russia (Iran, Syria, and Jordan) will renege on the peace plan about 3 years into it.

3) The temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt.

4) The antichrist (world leader) will set up his throne there and claim to be God, and force people to worship him by accepting a mark on their forehead or wrist to buy or sell.  Those that refuse the mark will be beheaded.

5) Then all out war will have to break out against Israel

Then Jesus comes back to obliterate those that came against his people and to reign for a thousand years in peace.

Wednesday, July 26, 2006:  Gary Busey...Howie Mandell...Nick Mancuso (of Stingray fame: excellent tv show from the 80's...like knight rider, but with a lone person who trades his skills for favors-"barter only" would be his clandestine ad to get work in the papers)...Margot Kidder...Val Kilmer...Kirk Cameron...what do all of these celebrities have in common?  They are all actively involved in promoting the gospel!

Last night I caught the last quarter of a movie starring Gary Busey, Howie Mandell and Margot Kidder on channel 14...a religious station in Houston...called Tribulation.  The movie was about the anti-christ (Nick Mancuso) and how he would deceive people into following him and rejecting God.  In the end, one of the people on the good side had gotten undercover footage of the anti-christ character spilling his guts about his plan to get as many people with him in the lake of fire as possible...not because he cares for them, but because each soul he gets down there is a soul God doesn't get.  It's all about revenge for him...Well, Gary Busey and Howie Mandell's characters manage to get some sort of jamming transmitter equipment that allows them to hack the global transmission the anti-christ is running for recruits (basically you must join his side, since he claims to be god, and accept his mark on your forehead or your hand in order to buy and sell, otherwise face beheading as you would be labeled a terrorist...a Christian).  The good guys run the undercover footage and everybody sees the anti-christ's true plans.  It was a well done movie...looked almost good enough to be big budget....it was better than a B movie though...or at the higher end of one.

Kirk Cameron has been in the movie Left Behind.  I didn't want to see that movie because of my own preconceived concept of what it would be, but it was really a great movie, and I was surprised I liked it.  It wasn't preachy in the way I thought it would be, but it did convey Christian values and beliefs.  That movie deals with the concept of the Rapture, which is supposedly an event that will take place just before Jesus returns, in which he will instantaneously gather up all his servants (people who are saved), while the anti-christ begins taking over the world and Israel's hostile enemies wage war with Israel.  The movie takes place from just before this point, and the after-effects of saved people instantly vanishing....vehicles of all sorts go out of control as their drivers disappear, plane seats are half empty, but the missing peoples' clothes are still there while in flight...etc.  Kirk has also been on channel 14 (Trinity Broadcasting?) in a series of shows with co-host Ray Comfort (author of numerous Christian books and teaching tools) called "Way of the Master".  This is a very easy to swallow version of evangelistic teaching...they go out on the street and simply ask people some simple questions about themselves, and seamlessly (and without making you want to turn the channel) explain which commandments they are in violation of, and how God will judge the unsaved in the day of judgment, then they ask these people, "what will you say on that day?  Just imagine you are there in front of God and you have to give an account of everything you ever said or did, and the penalty for breaking even one of the commandments is death, hell, and eternal separation from God."

I like how Kirk and Ray talk to people.  They are about hellfire and damnation, but they come off as very friendly and reasonable intelligent people that don't have that "get away from me" quality that most hellfire preachers have.  They do a good job, and they get people to WANT to change themselves for God.

Val Kilmer I caught on either channel 14 or channel 20 (both Christian stations), and he was reading passages from the Bible.  That was his own show...him sitting on a chair in a room, reading the Bible.  I was in awe when I saw that, simply because at that point, Kirk Cameron was the only star I had seen go the Christian route.  Val is a Christian Scientist...not a Scientologist.  I gained new respect for him because of the show...otherwise I always thought he came off as smug and snooty based on rumors in the entertainment news.

And now to discuss the dangers of spirits that transfer from one person to another.  In healing it happens a lot, and if you don't protect yourself you can come down with any symptom, problem or disease another person has just by touching them, and sometimes simply by being in their presence.  Spirits and demons hop rides on us all the time if we are not saved and/or living according to God's will.  It even happened to Jesus.  Once in a crowd a woman who had been menstruating for like 15 years touched Jesus' robe and by her faith was healed, but Jesus felt the power go out of him.

In yesterday's entry about me using my Body Detective training on Lisa's friend Jeff, I was rushed and didn't mention what happened to me in the process.  While examining him, I touched his arm and felt a dull ache to the bone in my left arm all the way up to the top of the arm...it was a power drain...a sensation of losing life force in my limb.  For the next day and a half I experienced the pain Jeff had been having (I had a very similar pain a while back and it felt like it was back).  I knew how to get it out of me through prayer (laying hands on myself) and some self adjusting moves I was back to good in a day and a half.  But see the danger?  If I had been working on someone with cancer, I might have come down with it, if not properly protected...but I wear the full armor of God:  1) Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, and 19:5), 2) Feet-Washing (John 13:5-15 and Luke 22:27), 3) Receiving the Holy Spirit (John 14:26 and 16:7), 4) Communion (Matthew 26:26 and Luke 22:16-17),  and the Word (Matthew 12:37 and Hebrews 4:12).  If you have received all 5 of these, you are justified in God's eyes for having accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior and submitting yourself to these spiritual purification rituals, and he will protect you at all times and heal you if you ask him if you happen to catch something dark.  When you receive Baptism, you are surrounded by God's Holy Spirit at all times.  When you receive the Holy Spirit God dwells inside you (except when you sin)...so you have protection from spirits (anything you can feel or experience is a spirit), demons (fallen spirits...they have lost their way, may possibly be condemned, and usually have no light in them), and dark weapons (Dr. Price would describe these as black energy spears or splinters or spider-webs on your body or in your body grid or aura, or attached and squeezing an organ in your body (said organ is usually diseased)).

It would be a good idea to fast prior to a healing (simply offer yourself to God in his service in Jesus' name) and you are technically fasting (denying yourself...now you are "on the clock for God" and service to others).  Praying the Our Father first would be a great idea, and if you feel guilty for any fault you find in yourself, you should ask forgiveness for that.  Once done, pray for protection from sickly spirits, demons, and anything that might make you sick or feel the pains or symptoms of the person in need of healing.   You have angels at your command, so use them.  Ask them to guard you with their weapons drawn, and ask they be protected in Jesus' name.  I need to remember to do this next time.  Physical symptoms generally stem from spiritual sources, so cover your butt in the spirit realm.

Tuesday, June 20, 2006:  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.  Finally feeling rested after a 3 week vacation.  I spent the first week and a half remodeling a room in the house and prepping another for a floor remodeling.  I tore out the carpet in both rooms, and painted the one room aurora orange with thyme garden green for the trim.  It looks like a bright pumpkin or a bright orange.  It's bright without furniture, and the white 16" tiles we laid reflect the light.  I'm sure furniture will tone it down a bit.  I like it.

The next 7 days I spent in California:

Landed in Sacramento on June 1st.  Stayed with some good friends there who took good care of me.  Thank you Lisa and Kelley!

Saw the Capitol building while there:

Though not visible in this picture, for a couple of acres around the building there is a tree garden.  Sacramento has a Mediterranean climate so everything grows there.  Most of the trees are mature, except some of the redwoods (which are still pretty darn big).  I saw my first strawberry tree, olive tree, orange trees with ripe fruit all over them, redwoods and other conifers, eucalyptus trees (which smell fragrant just from their leaves...it makes the woods in California smell clean and refreshing), etc and so on.  There are hundreds of trees around, but they are too big to appreciate as pictures since the camera really can't capture it all while giving great detail.

While there I got to practice or use the knowledge I gained from my body detective training to help a friend of Lisa's who works at her office.  I gave him some advice I used on myself when I had the pain he had.  Healing is a process and can take time.  I also performed a laying on of hands on him in Jesus' name and he had no pain in his shoulder the next day (his muscles had atrophied (shrunk) from lack of use in that arm because of the pain he felt)...I am told he used that arm a lot the next day, overusing it and it hurt again the day after that.  I have prayed for him since regularly, but have not checked up on him lately.  How's he doing, I wonder?

I knew I did the right thing while there, not just laying on the hands to heal, but also giving him advice on how to strengthen the systems that appear to be weak in his body.  He said a lot of it was so simple and commonsense he just never thought to try it.  Basically move the injured area around...if you sit at a computer all day you are not moving your body.  Your body was designed to move, so move every part of your body regularly!  Sorry, lost my train of thought:  I knew I did the right thing because one goal of my vacation was to see Peaceful Warrior and when we went to see Lisa's friend they were having a yard sale, and I found a Dan Millman book that I didn't yet have but wanted: The Warrior Athlete (Body, Mind & Spirit).  (Please ask your movie theater management to carry this movie so Houston will carry it...it's out in limited release and not to be shown in Houston anytime soon unless people see the movie and ask for it to play at the theaters, so I wanted to see it in the home town of the author of the book the movie was adapted from "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman...one of my favorite books! because I knew it was playing there and I'd be there anyway).  Dr. Price would be my Socrates, and that's how my life relates a little to the book.

While still in Sacramento we rented X-men 1 and 2 to educate Lisa on the story, so we could all go see X-Men 3.  I loved that movie, as did I love Peaceful Warrior.

Also visited here to learn all about trains in California...quite fun and interesting.  The museum kicked ass because it had train cars inside of many makes and models, cars you could walk into, and they'd be made up like they were used way back when.  The museum even allowed photography and videotaping inside...unfortunately my battery crapped out early because I left it on earlier without realizing it.  I did get some video.  Here's a pic of a display with a real engine car:

Then we went to visit the wineries northeast of them (away from Napa Valley because Napa wineries charge for tastings.  The best wine I had came from Vino Noceto near Plymouth, CA...their Noceto Frivolo was sweet, delicious, mild, and went very well with food!  We visited three wineries: Vino Noceto because it was the first we saw, Amador Foothills because someone visiting Vino Noceto recommended it because it is situated on top of a hill, and Deavers Winery because it was downhill from Amador Foothills and it had a pond.  I only have video of those places, so I'll be making a dvd of this vacation.

Monday the 5th I left Lisa and Kelley's and went solo to San Rafael to be alone for a few days and spend them hiking.  I hiked Muir Woods and took the Deep Sea Trail quite a ways the first day. It was gorgeous!  I wish I could see the hills or mountains in the wet season while they are green.  It's the sunny season now so everything has pretty much turned brown.

At around 6 or 6:30, when I was done hiking (I got there at 1pm or so), I headed to Sausalito to see Peaceful Warrior.  I made a pit stop at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area hilltop, where artillery men tracked and shot at ships in the bay during and prior to WWII.  To my dismay, when I arrived in Sausalito a little while later, there was no parking anywhere near the theater after 6pm and it was not playing at the theater originally listed to carry it (a kind gas station attendant/owner allowed me to park my car on his lot so I could see the movie).  I headed back to my motel and asked if there was another theater.  There was just a couple of exits away, and I got there at a quarter to 9pm and had time to down 2 beers at Applebees in the mall before the movie in the mall started.  I ordered an appetizer plate thinking I'd be starved from hiking all day, and the drive from Sacramento (1 hour and 37 minutes), but I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites and ended up offering it to the bartender and then giving it to someone he knew at the bar to my right.  The movie started at 10:05pm.  It stayed pretty true to the book, but glossed over many important bonding moments between the main character (Dan Millman played by Scott Mechlowicz) and his teacher or mentor named Socrates (played by Nick Nolte...who captured his essence as I envisioned it).  It did the same with his relationship to Joy.  The movie ended and I wanted more and there was more, but they left it to summary captions.  The movie was well adapted and left me wanting more, kept me involved throughout, and pleased me with all the inside jokes for those that have read the book.

Sue knows someone who's brother currently works at Skywalker Ranch, so she arranged for me to get a private tour by her brother.  Thank you Alice and Mark!  God bless you both.  Thank you God!  What a dream come true to visit George Lucas' production ranch...well post production anyway.  Here's me in front of the main building.  One hand is making an "L" for Lucas, the other hand has 2 fingers up signifying that George Lucas' offices are on the 2nd floor of this building.  This is one of several buildings on the ranch.

And this is me inside one of the buildings in front of a display of Oscars and various other awards:

I got to meet a variety of people, one of whom is credited with making Chewbacca's voice, and I think the same guy or the guy with him was the voice of a droid in the Revenge of the Sith movie as well as some other sound effects.  I met a producer named Bob who was putting the sound together for a movie and told me the smart directors leave producers alone to do their job.  He worked in Skywalker Sound, which is a building dedicated to all things audio in movies, including putting all sounds together to make a movie...the rooms they do this in are incredible: the size of a tiny tiny theater, with a 10X15 screen (or some proper ratio for a movie screen), with a sound board in the middle of the room that is about the width of the room with more channels than my eyes could take in.  They do all kinds of movies at Skywalker Sound and Skywalker Ranch.  The animation department is coming back again...originally Lucas owned Pixar and sold it before it really got popular, so he's trying again because it got popular because of him.  Skywalker Sound also has a regular sized movie theater without seats...just space for an orchestra to record the score while watching the movie, and an audio board connected to a large control room.

Other buildings on the grounds were the Stablehouse building, the Carriage House, the Animation House (I forget it's real name), The Private Inn for producers and actors or celebrities staying for a couple of days who wish for seclusion and are working in one of the buildings, a Fire Department, horse stables, cow pastures, grape vineyards (they grow enough grapes to turn into wine to give away as Christmas presents each year...soon they'll have enough to sell locally).  They send their grapes to Francis Ford Coppola's winery to make the wine...they send back the wine in bottles, and Skywalker Ranch puts on it's own label.  They also have an olive vineyard growing.

If you work there you have many options for activity on your free time: indoor basketball court, outdoor swimming pool, volleyball, the place is huge so you can jog if you like, and they are building 2 more facilities for staff recreation...I think they have a gym or two, or maybe those will be the new facilities?  I forget.  Also, there are 2 restaurants normally open and a third on special occasions.  Both have vegetarian options.

Afterwards I headed back to highway 1 and headed to Muir Beach, shot some video, found a trail and climbed the peak next to the coast and shot more video.  Here's a view from the peak:

You can just make out San Francisco to the left and right of the middle peak in the picture across the bay in the haze. When I was done I drove down the street and pulled into a Zen Dragon Recreation Center, which had a public trail to a mountain peak.  I climbed without camera to the top (it took at least a half hour to an hour if not more and it ran into a trail near the top peak that led to the beach peak I had just been on), then I enjoyed the view, all the time hoping and praying Jesus would appear to me on one of my hikes.  There was a guy alone up there on the peak wearing sandals and we spoke briefly, but I don't think he was Jesus.  He lives in house at the bottom of a different trail on that peak.  When I was done, I jogged (for the first time in over 5 years) down the entire length of the hill, only stopping for seconds to pop my leg back into place when the knees felt strained on either side.  I felt wonderful after except it felt like my nipples were on fire or as if it was a chemical burn just in my nipples and areola area.  Otherwise I had a great workout and a great time having climbed two peaks that day.

Wednesday I had planned to go to Angel Island, thinking for sure I'd meet up with Jesus or some angel there, but my plans were foiled by limited ferry trips to the island (where I also wished to camp), and I had missed them.  Also, the ferry doesn't take vehicles, so I had to pay to park my rental car in the lot for the day if I had taken the ferry.  I only had to pay the minimum because I left.

I headed back to the Muir Woods area and drove through Mill Valley (a key place for Dan Millman and recommended by his secretary.  It was just a wealthy upper class neighborhood (a mile or so long) in the valley.  I then went to Mount Tamalpais and hiked there for a few hours.

Here are some pics from that final day of blessed solitude:

A close up shot of San Francisco across the bay between these hilltops:

Golden Gate bridge shot while looking up and down road for ferry signs to Angel Island:

Below I think is a view from Forbes' Bench alongside a trail on Mount Tamalpais.  Excellent view there, but I'm not sure this is it.

So, I must give thanks to almighty God for making this happen...thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Father and thank you Holy Spirit (all one God).  You made this possible, you made my IRS refund check come back during my vacation (so now I can replace the money I spent immediately and only be a couple of hundred in the hole from the trip versus over a thousand $$$).   You let me see a movie adaptation of my favorite book, and another excellent X-men movie, and you let me tour Skywalker Ranch, and visit some good friends that moved away last year.  I had the best time and couldn't have asked for much more.  Thank you so much and thank you for your love and thank you for life and thank you for looking out for me and protecting me (especially when the 18 wheeler tried to run over my car on the freeway on my way out of Sacramento...not even outside the city limits...on my way to San Rafael.  I praise you for nature and for mountains and for foothills and wine vineyards and everything I saw there...even the 9 inch long banana slug I saw on the trails, which I think personally was Lucas' inspiration for Jabba the Hutt...it looked like a slimy yellowish dildo-shaped snake, but it was a slug, thick as a medium sized snake.  I praise you for it all.  You are the most creative and your creation surpasses all manmade creations.  Thank you for the trip and for the memories.  I could never repay you.  Thank you so much, Jesus!

Back in May I edited a bit of the Matrix to sort of explain the title of this website.  The title in the top frame is linked to the video I edited to explain the concept of this site.  It is set for windows media player.

Thursday, May 11, 2006:  Wow, another month has sped by.  Before I know it, I'll be 80 is what it feels like, and I'm only 34.  I spent the last 2 weekends working full days both Saturday and Sunday.  The last weekend in April was the 4th Body Detective weekend course, which focused on developing our senses (above normal sight and hearing, a little on touch, there was a guest speaker from the UK that Dr Price was impressed with who used dowsing rods to test for and clear geopathic stresses in our energy fields and the immediate environment, then feeling other peoples' auric fields (An emanation of energy which surrounds all living things. Many with psychic abilities are able to see and interpret this energy. Can be viewed through the use of Kirlian photography) sending and receiving energy (thought) patterns and learning to recognize how to detect them, and learning not to rely on sight by blindfolding each other in pairs and trying to locate the each other.  And this past weekend I spent Saturday and Sunday in Primerica Life University, prepping for a state licensing exam this Friday for Life, Health, and Accident, so I can build a business and sell life insurance, prepaid legal, and eventually get licensed in Securities so I can invest peoples' money.  I never knew how money worked, or how people got wealthy through investing.  Now I do, and I'm thrilled to have learned all about it.

What does any of this have to do with this website devoted to all things Jesus and spiritual?  To show that God is alive and listens to prayers, and knows what you need and fills that need when you make Jesus a part of your life and ask God for your heart's desire through Jesus' name.  That is what is meant by "Jesus acts as intercessor (someone that pleads your case for you) on your behalf with Almighty God, who would otherwise not hear your prayer...Jesus is the only name God will honor at ALL times to give ear to your prayer, and if you are sincere of heart and believe in the power and weight Jesus' name carries God will most likely answer your prayer (sometimes in ways we'd never have thought of or even guessed at, and sometimes not right away....it can be instantaneous, be a matter of days or weeks, months or years...the point is to have faith, pray everything in Jesus' name, and believe your prayer will be answered)

Mark 11:22-26:  "22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  25  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought (anything) against any (anybody else); that your Father (God) also which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.  26  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father (God) which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."

I believe God loved me so much he sent both opportunities (Dr. Price and the Body Detective program and the Primerica business opportunity) into my life as answers to internal prayers.  I have longed to know how to invest and all about how money works, how insurance works (not at all like I believed when I was a layman), etc.  Insurance first popped into my life with my friend Bo a couple of years ago.  I placated him because he was just getting into the business himself, but I wasn't really interested in pursuing the business portion.  A year later, Sue gets a part time job with an insurance company.  After she left there for a full time job elsewhere, Bo brings up the Primerica thing again with an approach more in line with my way of generating business, and since my job will not exist by 2008 at this point, I am jumping on this opportunity.  Learning it was more interesting to me than I thought it would be, dry as the information was...I liked it because it was valuable and it was new.  Dr. Price and the Body Detective program helps me understand a variety of skill sets that various practitioners and healers in new age centers have and use as medical intuitives (people who have extrasensory sight into the body or the aura or of entities attached to various parts of the body or organs of the body; also, people with extrasensory hearing....like Bridget Guillory who is deaf, but can hear the frequencies generated by the life force in the organs and in the body, in nature, and in the universe; others have extrasensory taste, and can taste heavy metals or other things in their mouths if they stand next to a person that has such toxicity; and others can smell various smells in people, just by being near them...mind you those people are not passing gas to give the odor; and finally, others can touch you and know where pain is and relieve the pain through massage).  To someone who always wanted super human abilities, just meeting people like this was a blessing for me, but to learn with them even more so.

So, I thank you God for bringing these blessings into my life.  Lord Jesus, how can I thank you, who died for a scumbag like me???  What can I do for you?  Let me know.  And if any of these be mere tests to lure me into darkness, I pray you will rescue me from darkness and help me bring as many people with me as possible to salvation.  In Jesus' name I pray.

Tuesday, April 11, 2006:  A friend of mine I know through work mailed me a copy of a book "Raptured" by Tom McCall and Zola Levitt, signed by the author (Tom) himself!  Thank you, Byron!  He also sent me my first prayer request via mail.

Lord Jesus, please hear our prayer and intercede for and heal Josh of his brain tumor, and intercede for and heal John and free him once again from his wheel chair and remove any blood clots that may be hindering his full recovery.  Send angels to vanquish the spirits of disease plaguing these people, Almighty Father, to give glory to your son's name.  Have mercy on them, Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus - Christ.  Thank you for listening.

Tonight I also updated God as Light (Against Hatred for Others...formerly Against Racism), the addendum is below, but if you haven't read the above link, you won't understand how or why it fits in.

Addendum to "God as Light: 04/11/06:  Guess what else is described as light...you are!  According to Chinese medicine and Eastern religions, we as humans have 7 centers or wheels of life-force known as chakras (the link will open a window to a page telling you more about chakras than most books do, but in one lengthy page....quite detailed, includes photos, some of which I will include here)... (the following borrowed from the page from the link)

CHAKRAS

Chakra means Wheel in Sanskrit.

The body has spinning energy centers that look like spinning wheels and are called, Chakras.

As with all things in our reality, they are linked to sound, light and color.

To heal, is to bring the chakras into alignment and balance

then understand the nature of creation and your purpose in it.

    _________________________________________________________________

Notice how in the next few pictures, the prana or life-force enters the lower body, ascends and empowering or strengthening the chakras, and exits the head returning to the source, the Divine...aka God Almighty... Then, consider our symbols for modern medicine (you see it on ambulances all the time...there'll be a picture below)

KUNDALINI

Snake symbolgy - DNA - Dragons, Snakes, etc.

Now, the symbol for modern medicine...the Caduceus Symbol:  Excerpt:

"The symbol's origins are thought to date to as early as 2600 BC in Mesopotamia, and there are several references to a caduceus-like symbol in the Bible, namely in Numbers 21:4–9, and 2 Kings 18:4. During the Exodus, Moses was instructed by God to fashion a pole upon which he was to position a serpent made of bronze; when looked upon, this Nehushtan, as it was called in Hebrew, would spare the lives of the Israelites stricken by venomous snake bites. The intent was that people would look upward and be reminded to pray to God, but eventually the meaning was forgotten and this symbol was apparently worshiped by the Hebrew people until the reign of Hezekiah as described in 2 Kings 18:4."

Wednesday, March 29, 2006:  You know how when you are writing something, you get into a zone or a flow and just keep going until you have your thoughts out completely?  And later you go back and re-read what seemed to convey EVERYTHING at the time of writing, but find that the words used lacked the details of the experience?  I recently re-read "My Divine Experience" (left menu) and realized how few were the details in the account...especially about God's (or the angel's) eyes of flames (I read it and thought to myself it was as superficial a description as the verse in the Bible (only the one detailing the "eyes as lamps of fire"):   Daniel 10:5-6  "5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of a multitude.")  (Though in my vision the spirit didn't speak).  So, today I would like to further detail the vision, specifically the eyes of flame or fire or "like lamps of fire."

In the vision I had the being I saw was almost certainly the same as the one in the above verse.  When I looked up and saw his face, and noticed the eyes like a lick of fire, almost immediately I was moving through the gap between us without actually moving (in other words I didn't willfully walk or move or float to the spirit, but while standing there my entire being was moving to his face).  As I approached him, it was as if he became bigger or I became smaller, but either way I came to rest standing as if on the edge of his pupil, if he had had one.  Once there I was unaware of anything behind me, only what was in front of me...and what was in front of me was a white limited void filled with about 6 pillars or columns of fire (8-12foot tall each, but height and distance were impossible to determine in this void), as if they were coming out of a gas line in a fireplace or a grill, but there was no piping, nothing solid in this white void.  The pillars of fire were closely spaced to each other, and seemed to maneuver around each other, bending this way and that like a camp fire in a gentle breeze, while others appeared out of nowhere.  I could have stared like this for a very long time, much longer than I was allowed.  I felt like I could get lost inside there, and I probably would have if I had not been brought back out and the proportions returned to normal.  I never made a move.  When coming out of his eye (by that same force that put me there), my first thought was that I could have been consumed by that fire, and that the being was God, and that the verses were correct in the Bible describing God as a "consuming fire" (Deuteronomy 4:24 "For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.").  Surprisingly, I felt no heat from the fire, but though it was right in front of me I can't say I was actually in the fire (it wasn't licking at me or surrounding my body, and I wasn't engulfed in flame either).  But, the fire was all I could see other than the white limited void.  The void had limits, but I couldn't tell if the limit/wall/other end was 10 feet away or 1000miles away.  And I wasn't worried about getting burned (not while there at least) or burning in hell or anything like that...it was more like I was being shown the driving force inside this being.

Psalm 97 gives a helpful description of what I described as a debris field surrounding God (or the angel) that I saw in my vision as clouds and darkness speeding around Him...very fitting description...hits the nail on the head.  (Verses 2 and 3): "2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.  3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about."

Coincidences

Today before going to work I looked out the back window and saw something on the ground, unmoving by the pool.  I went out and found a dead white rabbit.  It made me think of a previous entry from November 2005 (on which date I saw 2 rabbits, each on separate sides of this city, on the same day).  Then I thought about my pastor, who has a rabbit.  Then tonight (Tuesday night), when I tell Sue about it she says the neighbors behind us have a rabbit.  Great...I have to tell them it got into our yard and died, since they speak Spanish only.  I prayed for it to come back to life or for God to replace the rabbit with one just like it before they notice theirs missing.

Tomorrow a dear friend of mine goes in for a biopsy of a mass found in her breast.  We have prayed together in Jesus's name for her to be healed and for the mass to disappear before she goes in for it...at the very least we prayed if something was still there that it be benign.  Jesus, please intercede for her and heal her completely.  Thank you, Jesus!

Old club song flavored with Jesus song of the week:

Daniella's Daze's "100% Jesus",

Chorus
Hey yeah, walking in the valley of decision
Hey yeah, reap all the wages of sin
A big hollow man
With a fistful of sham
Came a-walking across the sea
All leathery charms
As he pinwheeled his arms
And directed his gaze at me
(He said)
God will provide the way
You read about it every day
(I'm telling ya)
All you gotta do is pray
And furnish his house with silver

Liberty's daughter
Well primed for the slaughter
A space where her brains had been
All ribbons and curls
She's a good hearted girl
Broken by what she had seen
(She says)
Daddy don't you go away
Stay with me and we can play
(I'm begging ya)
Do it just like yesterday
And I can go home to Jesus

A regular Joe
Who had nowhere to go
A space where his home had been
A bombing religion
A blight on the region
To fuel a pious dream
(And they said)
God will provide the way
You read about it every day
(I'm telling ya)
All you gotta do is pray
And furnish his house with silver

Monday, March 13, 2006:  What is "fear of the Lord?"  Proverbs 8:13 gives us a good definition: "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward (defined as "perverse") mouth".  Proverbs 9:v10 then tells us another aspect or truth about "fear of the Lord": "10  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."

Interesting news piece sent to me a few days ago:

(From Yahoo News! and Routers)

Court Upholds "Bong Hits 4 Jesus"

Student Banner

Fri Mar 10, 3:38 PM ET

An Alaska high school violated a student's free speech rights by suspending him after he unfurled a banner reading "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" across the street from the school, a federal court ruled on Friday.

Joseph Frederick, a student at Juneau-Douglas High School in Alaska, displayed the banner -- which refers to smoking marijuana -- in January 2002 to try to get on television as the Olympic torch relay was passing the school.

Principal Deborah Morse seized the banner and suspended the 18-year-old for 10 days, saying he had undermined the school's educational mission and anti-drug stance.

Friday's ruling by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco overturned a decision by a federal court in Alaska that backed Frederick's suspension and said his rights were not violated.

The appeals court said the banner was protected speech because it did not disrupt school activity and was displayed off school grounds during a non-curricular activity.

"Public schools are instrumentalities of government, and government is not entitled to suppress speech that undermines whatever missions it defines for itself," Judge Andrew Kleinfeld wrote in the court's opinion.

The court also cleared the way for Frederick to seek damages, saying Morse was aware of relevant case law and should have known her actions violated his rights.

A week or two ago, a friend of mine sent me a link to a spoof music video of "Baby Got Back" (Sir Mix-A-Lot...this link takes 5 minutes for the window link to open and load the video, so be patient) as a Christian rap song music video..."Baby Got Book" (Dan Smith aka WhiteboyDJ) (click to watch it..it loads quickly).  I liked it so much, I emailed the guy that made it (after a quick internet search), asked if I could air his music video as filler for the public access station, and he emailed back asking if he could just send me the dvd so I'd have a good copy and the updated version.  How cool is that?  I now have the dvd and will soon put it to tape for air.

Also, I have been working on making some graphical public service announcements for NORML.  All they have are Willie Nelson radio spots.  I'm taking those radio spots and putting graphics (words on the screen) up so there's something to look at and or read, which also makes these hard of hearing friendly.   They said to send them in for approval and once approved, I could air them as filler on the channel (as well as use them to counter the anti-marijuana programming the broadcast stations have been using a lot lately to brainwash everyone).

Sunday, March 5, 2006, 11:16PM:  Not sure whether to take the job or stay here in Houston.  I feel like I have a mission here, and I've already given my word to produce some video stuff for someone who developed a series of classes.  Also, I feel like some big spiritual stuff is going down here (I hope it doesn't turn out to be as dark as a dream/vision I once had about my soul), and leaving now would be like walking away from some deep inner purpose or confrontation.  The problem is I don't know what that deep inner purpose is.

Monetarily speaking, a move to Monterrey isn't plausible either.  Other things making me want to stay are of course family, all my friends and loved ones, inexpensive jujutsu training, among other things.  Monterey would be beautiful, laid back, aesthetically heaven to me, and it would be near the ocean in northern California!  But, since we wouldn't be able to buy without suddenly coming into a large sum of money, we'd have to rent, and that makes the town not animal friendly for a couple who has 2 dogs and 2 cats.  We'd have to rent 2 apartments to get away with the animals, and they'd be separated that way.

_____________

Today I went back to St. Ambrose Church, and again I walked around and checked out the statues, but this time as I started something inside me said to go to the left side of the church first.  I went to the right side, read about each figure represented by each statue (Joseph, father of Jesus, Elizabeth (?), mother of Mary, this patron saint, that patron saint, etc...including some children that were patron saints from the 1700-1800's).  As I was finishing the round on the left side of the church, and was walking down an aisle to exit, I saw another woman standing there touching a statue, apparently praying (but not distressed like the other woman I saw), and then rubbing the statue's leg or something.  Maybe she was praying to it, maybe not, I was not within earshot.  I had sent an anonymous letter to St. Ambrose by making the return address the initials of the park across the street, F.W. Park, then the address of the park as the return address.  I heard nothing about idolatry in the homily, nor did I see a blurb about it in the newsletter, nor were any signs up about not praying to or worshiping statues.  Somehow I doubt they will do anything, even if I write another letter with my real name and address.  I fear they might consider me "harassing" them, so I hesitate to do it, but will if need be.  Funny, though the theme of the readings today was 1) Repent and be saved, 2) how Noah's flood (which redeemed man to God) was a foreshadowing of baptism, which redeems man to God through Jesus.

In other news, my dear friend Rose just found out she has like 4 lumps in her breast, and her mother died of breast cancer at just a few years older than Rose currently is.  Lord, please clear these spots and all disease from Rose's body, and show her your mercy on her, shine your face on her, Almighty Father, in Jesus' name.  Amen.

Sunday, February 19, 2006, 2:05PM:  Another prayer answered:  If I want it, there's a job for me in Monterey, California. (refer to my entry from September 7, 2005)

Nakedness...whose may you see? Seemingly many peoples' nakedness.  Let's look at whose nakedness NOT to see, since those are listed in Leviticus chapter 18...here are the "No-No's" regarding nakedness, but seemingly implying a preventative measure against sexual relations with these same people:

-v6: "None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord."

-v7-8: "7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.  8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness."  [Basically stating that by default the spouse of immediate family counts as the other person's nakedness.  For example, seeing your mother's nakedness is equal to seeing your dad's nakedness and vice versa.]

-v9: "The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover."

-v10: "The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness."

-v11: "The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness."

-v12: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman." (Your "aunt on your father's side" in other words)

-v13: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman."  (Your "aunt on your mother's side" in other words)

-v14: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt." (Your uncle's wife counts as your aunt too)

-v15: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness."

-v16: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness."

-v17: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness." (No mom and daughter threesomes, nor mom and grandchildren threesomes would be one way to interpret this, as easily as one could interpret it to mean don't look at this kind of porn online or in magazines, be they pictures or video.  Again, these are not the only interpretations, other than the most obvious way it was stated in this verse)

-v18: "Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time."  (No sisters together naked in any fashion...again it sounds like it can refer to porno, threesomes, etc...seemingly addressing the man)

-v19: "Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness."  (During a woman's period, the woman was considered unclean for 7 days minimum, or until her flow stopped...so no nakedness or sex with a woman during this time.  Dohhhh!!!)

-v20: "Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her."  (typical adultery I'm guessing, but could this also apply to swingers?  Must swingers find unmarried people to swing with?)

-v21: "And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord."  (Okay, I think this refers to one of the idols (Molech), and the practice of burning or boiling your firstborn son or maybe daughter too.  Seed also refers to sperm, as in ejaculate (noun, not verb).  So it could mean jerkin' it and putting the goo through the fire.  Either way, I don't think this practice even exists today, but I could be wrong.)

-v22: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." (Seems to refer to man-man couples, not woman-woman couples).

-v23: "Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion."  (don't have sex with animals, not even women).

All of these laws are revisited in chapter 20 of Leviticus.

Friday, February 17, 2006:  Added a new link to a good friend of mine's (Bo's) church: New Wine Christian Fellowship.  They seem to be a righteous church.  Now, watch this hilarious anti-pot smoking video: http://www.eugenemirman.com/videos/Pot.mov  (I rate this "R" for language) I believe it to be a very skilled amateur videographer mocking how ridiculous the SCARE propaganda is on network television against pot lately.  You know it's because most other countries are decriminalizing marijuana that these anti-pot ads have become so prevalent on network tv lately (how else would they keep the prisons filled?  Or how else might the CIA make a profit if not by making marijuana illegal to grow, thereby making it a black market item, thereby increasing said item's street sale value exponentially vs the cost of cultivation, thereby selling said item to help fund black budget projects, thereby reducing competition by building prisons for those that cultivate said item...for my safety I will state I say the above only hypothetically (marijuana- a weed that grows in almost all 50 states naturally, at least it did before the mass extermination of marijuana plants when it was outlawed as a measure of promoting racism against non-whites, specifically brown and black skinned people).  I aim to make video public service announcements promoting the benefits of marijuana, as they are soooooooo overlooked.  But I digress.

Below is an email parable sent to me by my friend Sistah Rose (Thank you, Babydoll!).  I post it to open your minds to the infinite ways the enemy tries to rob us in everyday life of our relationship with God through Jesus.  Even if you don't believe in Jesus or God, I know your life will be more content and peaceful if you are aware and defend against the numerous ways negativity enters our lives as depicted below, thereby cutting us off from inner peace (which paves the way for a relationship with God).  Enjoy.

SATAN'S MEETING: (Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with
their saviour."

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is
broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish
dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a
relationship with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that
vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable
schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to
work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their
empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from
the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small
voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive."
To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home
and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays
non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes,
and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products,
services and false hopes.."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands
will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become
dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

"Give them headaches too! "

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin
to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the
real meaning of Christmas."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and
power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation.
Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and
movies instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and
small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek
power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their
health and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!"

"It will work!"

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians
everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!

Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?

Please pass this on, if you aren't too BUSY!

I don't think I know 10 people who would admit they love Jesus.

Do You Love Him?

(I most certainly LOVE Jesus.  Thank you for coming into my life again, Jesus!)

Sunday, February 12, 2006  12:15PM:  Being led by the Spirit...

Let me share an example of this concept of being led by the Spirit, and it should answer most people's questions about how to know you are being led by the Spirit (I mean by the Holy Spirit or by God or Jesus...they're all the same entity...I am not talking about just any old spirit).  Most people will ask, "How do you know it's the Spirit?   Does it talk?  If not how are you supposed to follow it?"  All good questions, and most are answered on their own when you follow and pay attention.  Let me explain.

A year or two ago, as I was making my way back to God/church/faith...my search...I decided I wanted a full immersion baptism.  I had grown up Catholic, so I was technically baptized as a baby and had my confirmation in my teen years.  Anyway, I didn't care for or feel I fit into the church I got my full immersion baptism in, yet they practiced things that are in the gospel that Catholic churches don't practice.  In doing so, that church stands out as being closer to a true church than most big churches of other denominations.  One thing they pointed out that they don't approve of Catholic churches especially is that fact that most have statues and idols in them.  I don't see a problem with idols in a church so long as nobody is worshiping them.  This truth is self evident when you read about the building of the great temple (Solomon's Temple) in Jerusalem...artisans make statues of lions that stand outside the temple and angels on the ark of the covenant as the "resting seat" of God.

Since that time, I began attending St. Ambrose Church, and noticed they have many big statues and candles in front of many of them.  In the back of my head, I felt like I should write the church leaders there and ask them to put a note in front of the statues warning people not to worship them.  Catholic tradition okays praying for intercession through saints, and somehow this mingled with statues and candles, which reeks of idolatry, even when the prayer is performed correctly in spirit.  It's been about a year and I have not yet done so, but I will this week, or within the next couple of weeks.  And let me tell you why...

(Let me preface with this "coincident" from last night):  Last night, visiting my parents with my woman, I open their Bible while my woman gets a haircut from my mom.  I read the story about a leper (in my own Bible, I had just read the chapters on leprosy in Leviticus), that goes to Jesus and asks for healing.  Today, I go to St. Ambrose, and the 1st reading is an excerpt from Leviticus about leprosy, and the gospel reading is the same story I read the night before, about the leper asking Jesus to heal him.  I stay after church to walk around and check the statues up close to see if there's a warning about not worshiping them or not.  There's not, but the statues on the sides have a little information plaque next to each one telling who the statue is of and what their role in the church was when they lived (apostle, saint, mother of Mary, etc).  As, I was nearing the last one on one side of the church, a lady comes and prostrates herself in front of one of the statues, touches it and prays.  Then she kisses the feet of the statue and moves on to the one next to it, and began the same process.  I stood there dumbfounded, wondering if I should interject and say something.  Then I worried I would be "pointing out the splinter in someone else's eye, overlooking the plank in my own", but finally when she moved to kiss the feet of statue #2, I had to say something.  I said, "Ma'am, you are praying to an idol.  It isn't alive.  You can pray to the spirits they represent, but these are dead things."  She was obviously not happy to hear my words, and I could tell by the way she was praying she was desperate for God's help.  She moved a few feet away from me, and when I was done saying that, I moved past her on my way out the church, and she was making her way back to the statue.

This is a prime example of being led by the Spirit.  My goal this week or next is to write to the priest or church and tell them this story and see if in the following weeks they make any changes or clarify that it's not right to pray to dead things that don't breathe...statues.  Pray to God and ask he grant them in the name of Jesus (or Jeshua, or whatever is the original real name of the Christ man).  God is a living, BREATHING, God.  The reason you breathe is that God gives you breath.  Without it you are dead.  God is life and life is breath and light.

Sunday, February 5, 2006  11:30PM:  Today I updated the notes for Exodus chapters 16-30 under Cool Facts and Personal Insight (left menu).

An interesting thing I have been noticing since I first started reading the Bible is that if I'm not devoting a certain amount of time to God (by either reading the Bible, or praying (real personal prayers with God, not just memorized prayers that come out of my mouth on autopilot), or going to church, or being that person somebody needs for a moment of venting or instruction or help, or whatever other "service" is pleasing to God) things don't go my way, and tasks pile up, and I get behind at work, and I'm more of a couch potato than anything else, and I get frustrated with life and hate my work more.

But, when I make an effort to read the Bible, or pray (really pray in a personal way with God) update this website, or go to church or whatever, even if I'm just opening the Bible for a couple of quick verses from Proverbs or Psalms or whatever book in the Bible, things go my way, and no matter how far behind at work I manage to catch up quickly, I don't get as frustrated, tasks don't seem daunting, I have more self-discipline without trying, etc.  Things really change for the better for me.

I challenge you to devote some quality time to God.  The more you devote, the more He will make His presence known to you in your life, in ways you never would have imagined.  Seriously.

Sunday, January 16, 2006,  12:05PM:  Today, I updated Cool Facts and Personal Insight (left menu), but only put down notes for the first 15 chapters of Exodus.  The most interesting tidbit of the notes today was the parallels I outlined between Moses' and Jesus' births, how both their lives were in danger, even before being born, and later coming back as the savior of their peoples.  Moses for the Jews and getting them out of Egypt and giving them God's law, and Jesus for saving not only the Jews, but Gentiles (non-Jews) as well.  Jesus gives us the spirit of the law, whereas Moses gives us the letter of the law, and numerous regulations.

Sunday, December 25, 2005,  2:48AM:  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  Though today is not really the birth date of our Lord Jesus, Christmas is a day to celebrate the marriage between God and man in the form of Jesus, who was sent to be a light to this world that lives in darkness, to save and heal us, to die as the spotless sacrificial lamb for our sins, to reconcile us sinners to the one and only Almighty God the Father.  So, we celebrate the birth of the Anointed One (aka Christ), Jesus, who is God become man.

In the past century or so, our society, and probably most people around the world, has celebrated Christmas by being extra cheery or nice during the last month of the year, and buying those people they love presents to show them that they care.  This is commercialism of Christmas.  But is this a bad thing?  Yes and no.

It is bad that Christmas has been commercialized and is now more about buying stuff than it is about Jesus, and it's bad that stores take full advantage of this and try marketing Christmas just days before Halloween.  It is bad that people are only nicer during holidays.  It is bad that an idol (Santa Claus) gets top honors in markets across the country, and the story of Santa is ingrained into the heads of just about every kid in this country, but not half as many know that the whole reason for this season we call Christmas is because of Jesus' (Christ's) birth.

On the other hand commercialism is a good boost for the economy.  Buying stuff to give loved ones gives the less creative people an outlet for their generosity, while at the same time brightening those peoples' day with a gift (who doesn't like getting gifts???).  At least for a month out of the year people are a little nicer to each other, so that's a good thing.  Parents have more obedient children, with much better attitudes during Christmas, so that's a good thing.  I'd be willing to bet there's an equal number of good things to bad things about the commercialism of Christmas.

I think the important lesson to remember for Christmas (and year round) is to celebrate the birth of God as man in the form of Jesus.  Make every month December, and treat others that same way all year round...be nice and loving to one another.  Remember, Jesus is alive, and he is a shape-shifter, so he can take the form of any person you do (friend or relative) or don't (stranger, hobo, etc) know.  Try keeping that in mind all year round, and see how much better you treat people each day, or how less you get irritated by that disrespectful driver that cut you off and is now driving slower than you in your lane, or how much more willing you'll be to help that annoying customer that either can't be satisfied or just takes up too much of your time, or how much more time you'll spend with that person who doesn't seem to have that many friends.  This should be celebrated all year.  Merry Christmas, happy birthday Jesus (whatever month you were born in), and may God bless you and your families this holiday season and in the year to come.  Peace be with you.

Wednesday, December 21, 2005,  11PM:   Today I'd like to give a history of what "Christmas" historically has been (a pagan holiday celebrating the god of Misrule, in which no one could be held responsible for their actions for an 8 day period for the Romans).  But before I get into the details of whatever the evil background for the season we now call Christmas really is, I think it's important to view Christmas for what it is now...it's now a competition between commercialism and Jesus...guess who'll win?  I look at it this way, the spirit of Christmas is a spirit of peace and giving and good times, so Jesus' way won...Christmas is no longer a season of harassing and sacrificing humans and hence no longer an evil season.

I get the information below from the following website: http://www.simpletoremember.com/vitals/Christmas_TheRealStory.htm (Judaism online's "The Real Story of Christmas").  I have not researched the information on the page, so I am not certain whether or not it is factual or accurate. Read it for more details on the stuff below.  Interesting reading though...

(Synopsis from their site): How Christmas came to be celebrated on 25th of December:

a) Roman pagans celebrated a period of lawlessness Dec 17-25 to the Lord of Misrule.  They forced victims to indulge in physical pleasures and then killed them.

b) Widespread intoxication, going house to house singing naked, rape and other sexual license and consuming human shaped biscuits.

c) 4th Century Christians allowed the festival [of Saturnalia] to gain converts, with the compromise being that they had to celebrate it like Christians...but since there was nothing Christian about the festival the church decided that the last day of the festival would be celebrated as the date of the birth of Christ (aka Jesus, aka - the Messiah), even though it really wasn't Jesus's birth day nor birth month.

d) Christmas was banned by the Puritans and it was illegal to observe in Massachusetts from 1659-1681 because of its pagan origin

e) The Catholic Church (in 1466) revived some of the depraved Saturnalia practices and Pope Paul II forced Jews to overeat and then run naked through the streets to amuse Roman citizens whilst being pelted by a variety of projectiles through 1881.

Also on that page: "Origins of Christmas Customs":

a) Trees- tree worshipers (again, to gain converts) were allowed to continue cutting down trees, bringing them inside their homes and decorating them.

b) Mistletoe- 1) poison used for the human sacrifice; 2) later became a Saturnalia festival symbol/custom for sexual license,

c) Presents

d) Santa Claus

The article on that page (on simpletoremember.com) is by Lawrence Kelemen.

------------------------

Now for a PRO-Christmas site telling the tale of a person who awoke to find Santa in their house, saying "teach the children the true meaning of Christmas".  Santa goes on to explain what each symbol of Christmas stands for, what he stands for, and how Christmas is really about the birth of Jesus the Savior.  It is a "make you feel good" read...here's a few excerpts from their site http://www.deerlakemail.com/teach/

As I stood bewildered, Santa said,
"Teach the children! Teach them the old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that now-a-days Christmas has forgotten."

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled
out a FIR TREE and placed it before the mantle.
"Teach the children that the pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's thoughts turning toward heaven."

He then brought out a HOLLY LEAF.
"Teach the children that the holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly represents the blood shed by Him."

Next he pulled from his bag a GIFT and said,
"Teach the children that God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON..." "Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

Santa looked back and was pleased. He looked back at me and I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. He said,

"Remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the center, for I am but a humble servant of the One that is, and I bow down to worship HIM, our LORD, our GOD."

Saturday, November 26, 2005,  6:20PM:  Today I updated "Cool Facts and Personal Insight into the Bible"....the book of Matthew.  My complete notes on that book, with surprisingly few notes. I bet when I get to reading that book again, I'll take more notes.

I came across some Eastern/New Age concepts in the Bible while transdigitizing (yes, I made it up...but I think it's time has come, since transcribing deals specifically with writing, not typing into computer storage) my notes, so here are a couple to engage your mind:

1)  "God inside you" or the Krishna "the body is the temple of God" or "Spirit inside you"  Matthew 10:18-20:  "18  And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.  19  But when they deliver you up, take no thought (do not worry about) how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.  20  For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you."

2) "Manifesting desires into reality"  Intent and desires spoken manifest into our realities.  Mark 11:22-24  "22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

3) Karma and  4) Abandon desire/passion...well I came across so many references that I went ahead an made the page "Eastern and New Age Concepts in the Bible" in the left column.  Full notes and quotes.

Thursday, November 10, 11:30pm:  I feel like having some fun tonight, so here's a list of cool (some neat, some funny, some just interesting) Jesus related links to follow.  Enjoy:

1)  Someone who shares a very similar view on aliens, spirits, demons and angels.  Wow, who'd've thunk it?  This isn't the most commonplace series of concepts out there...or is it?  http://www.sherryshriner.com/alien_nation.htm

2) (Taken from http://www.linkfilter.net/) JESUSLAND:  American Evangelicals and Israeli officials plan to unveil this month a $60 million park where Jesus walked.
Officials in Israel say that out of about 2 million people who will realize their dream of visiting the Holy Land this year, more than half will be Christian. And among those, more than half will be Evangelical.

With that in mind, the Israeli ministry of tourism has gone public with a plan to build - in partnership primarily with American Evangelical churches - a sprawling Holy Land Christian Center on the northern shores of the Sea of Galilee, home to some of the most notable chapters in Jesus' ministry.

3) A ministry of deliverance from all sorts of evil and wicked influences, spirits, demons, etc.  Name an ailment, and I'll bet it's on this site.  http://www.demonbuster.com/index2.html

4) (I'll be working on gathering all instances I can find in the Bible reflecting Eastern and New Age spirituality...until then, become familiar with them..."cause knowledge is power!"  I couldn't resist.)    :

In ancient China, the keeper of the Imperial Library, Lao Tzu, was famous for his wisdom. Perceiving the growing corruption of the government, he left for the countryside. On his way, the guard at the city gates asked Lao Tzu to write out the essence of his understanding to benefit future generations. Lao Tzu wrote the Tao Te Ching, left, and was never heard of again.

The Tao Te Ching (also called "The Tao", "The Dao" or the "Dao De Jing"), by Lao Tzu, is one of the most influential books in history.  It is the source of famous Chinese sayings such as "Those who know do not speak, those who speak, do not know" and "Even a 1,000 mile journey starts with a single step".

This site includes images and quotes of Lao Tzu as well as explanations of yin & yang, and Taoist philosophy.  http://www.thetao.info/index.htm

6) God's Yellow Pages- - Let your fingers do the walking thru the Bible

7) Albert Einstein (collected quotes):

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."
"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."

8) "God's Angels"  (A cool spiritual/religious email story):

God's Angels

A college professor, an avowed atheist, was teaching his class. He shocked several of his students when he flatly stated that for once and all he was going to prove there was no God. Addressing the ceiling he shouted:

"GOD, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes!!!!!"

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by.

" I'm waiting God, if you're real knock me off this platform!!!!"

Again after 5 minutes, the professor taunted God saying,

"Here I am, God!!! I'm still waiting!!!"

His count got down to the last couple of minutes when a SEAL, just released from the Navy after serving, walked up to the Professor. The SEAL hit him full force in the face, and sent the Professor tumbling from his lofty platform. The Professor was out cold!! The students were stunned and shocked. They began to babble in confusion. The SEAL nonchalantly took his seat in the front row and sat silent. The class looked at him and fell silent..... waiting. Eventually, the professor came to and was noticeably shaken. He looked at the SEAL in the front row. When the professor regained his senses and could speak he asked:

"What is the matter with you?!  Why did you do that!?"

"God was busy so he sent me." came the reply
.

Friday, November 4, 2005 (12:04AM):

1) 2 Rabbits, 2 Hawks:  An interesting coincidence happened twice on two separate occasions in the past couple of weeks.  One day I saw two separate rabbits on the same day...one was near Sue's old residence, which happens to be very close to where my parents live and where I grew up; it was on someone's lawn next to a busy street.  Later that day I was driving around the area I live now and saw a rabbit in some overgrown grass.  A week or so later, I was at my sister's house for multiple birthday celebrations, and saw 2 hawks in the sky.  The rabbits were odd to see running wild inside Houston city limits, outside of a nature preserve like the arboretum.  Hawks are not strange to see, and I only mention them because a remarkable "healer" lady I encountered a couple of years ago told me hawks were my messenger animals.

(I call her remarkable because when she was doing her "healing" or "energy work" or whatever on me, she took hold of my left arm, and within seconds I felt a tingling sensation on the top right half of my head begin to spread down to my right arm.  I had never felt any surge of energy before that, except in terms of warmth emanating from a person or their hands...this person made only half of my body tingle...only one side!)

2) How to Pray:  Praying is simple.  It simply requires you to humble yourself before God, open up to Him as you would your own parents.  God is your father and loves you as such, if you let Him.

The Bible tells us that God does not hear the prayers of the wicked.  I think it might be better termed God doesn't pay attention to the prayers of the wicked, and since the Bible tells us we are all wicked in one way or another, and being such creates a gulf between us and God, we must bridge that gulf with God so He will give ear to our prayers.  Jesus taught us how to pray by reciting the Our Father (which allows God to hear our prayers) because concentrating on the meaning of the words of this prayer and speaking them show our humbleness before God.  Jesus also taught us that God would grant us anything in his (Jesus') name...so that must mean that in order for God to even consider our prayers (He does and He determines what to do about them), we must first acknowledge God's dominance over us along with His holiness, ask that our daily needs be met, ask forgiveness of our sins, our lives, and our circumstance, ask to be judged and treated based on how we treat other people, and finally an appeal for deliverance from evil.  Once that is done, you may address God as if He were your relative.  Be open and honest, and end your prayer with something like, "All this I ask in Jesus' name, if it be your will, Almighty Father.  Amen."

(updated 10/8/05 with all the supporting quotes)-Wednesday, September 27, 2005: (12:58AM) Tonight I created a page with the Jesus Art Car pictures I took.  Look to the left frame for the link.

It's been a while since I've updated the site because Hurricane Rita came our way, and narrowly missed us in Houston.   This post will deal with weather modification and Biblical references for such phenomenon

3 examples:

1) The prophet Elijah sealed the sky for 3 years, preventing it from raining in Gilead...1 Kings 17:1 "And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word";  v7 "And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land" Ch 18v1 "And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth."

2) Jesus calms the storm at sea with the Apostles witnessing it. Matthew 8: 23-27 "23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.  24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves; but he (Jesus) was asleep.  25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.  26 And he (Jesus) saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, o ye of little faith?  Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.  27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!"

 3) Jesus tells us we will do greater miracles than he did.  (John 14:12-14) "12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

Here's a link for those of you that need some assistance with faith affecting your physical universe, namely weather:

1) Make your own orgone generators (Holy Hand Grenades) and chembusters (powered by prayer) to modify weather: a) http://educate-yourself.org/dc/orgonegenindex.shtml or b) http://www.metatech.org/cloudbuster_&_orgone_generator.html

Proof weather modification is real- US legislation regarding weather modification: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=s109-517

Also, Jesus is a shape-shifter.  Proofs:

  1) Jesus was in a synagogue preaching, upset the Pharisees, and they (a crowd) went to grab him to stone/kill him.  Jesus escapes and no one sees him leave.  (John 8:59) "Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by."  (if you read the chapter, you'd see there's no way he could have just covered himself with robes and gotten away...he had been addressing a crowd and some of the Jews had just accused him of having a devil in him)

2) At the end of the Gospel of John, after Jesus rises from the dead, he meets up with the apostle Peter and another disciple on the road, and he walks with them, talking to them, and they do not recognize him until hours later when blessing the food they were about to eat.  Then he disappears from the disciples' sight.  (Luke 24:13-19) "13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.  14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.  15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.  16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.  17 And he said unto them, "What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?"  18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?  19 and he (Jesus) said unto them, "What things?"  And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people." .... 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.  31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight."

3) another post-resurrection account describes the apostles coming back from fishing unsuccessfully.  They see a man on the beach and the man calls them over and asks them if they have any fish from their trip out.  They do not recognize the man as Jesus, except for the disciple that Jesus loved especially.  (John 21:4-7) "4 But when morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.  5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? ("meat" defined as food). They answered him, No.  6 And he said unto them, "Cast the net on the right side of the ship and ye shall find."  They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.  7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord.  Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea."  .... v12 "Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst (dared) ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord."

Sunday, September 18, 2005: (5:56PM)  Last night my sister took Sue and me out to dinner for my birthday weekend (Sept. 15), so we went to Field of Greens (a mostly vegetarian restaurant).  While there, we saw a VERY cool art car with Jesus figures all over it, so I went out to take pics.  I need to get a data cable to download the pics from the workphone to the computer, but as soon as I do, I'll post them.  It was hard to tell if the owner was a fan of Jesus or blamed Jesus and other religions for most of the hate and problems in the world, but either way, the car was cool, and most of it seemed okay with Christianity, just not the  idea of blindly following dogma, which is cool.  There were some agnostic stickers on it too, and lots of Darwin bashing, which was cool, yet at the same time the monkeys were mocking some of the Jesus figurines on the car.

I liked the bumper stickers on the art car best.  A few that caught my interest, "Question Reality" because I have a button with the same quote hanging in my bathroom.  Another was "I found Jesus...he was behind the sofa the whole time" which is a button my wife has.  Other cool stickers on the car: "Evolution is just a theory...kind of like gravity!", "Don't believe everything you think", "Subvert the dominant paradigm", "Jesus is a liberal", "religion is the cyanide of the masses", "Fired up for Jesus", "How would Jesus Drive?", "Religions are just cults with more members", "I represent God you fuck", "Jesus Rocks!", "Jesus didn't teach me to hate gay people", "Jesus was way cool", "Are you following Jesus this close?", "Be not half-assed" (with a pic of Jesus sitting in a meditative position nearby), "Who would Jesus bomb?", "I bet Jesus would have used his turn signals", "God is too big to fit into one religion", and my favorite, which is kind of the point of this website: "I like your Christ.  I do not like your Christians.  They are so unlike your Christ. - Ghandi"

May God bless you, art-car guy...whether or not you believe in Him.

Thursday, September 7, 2005:  (12:45AM) Today I updated some of my notes on Genesis under the link on the left frame "Cool Facts and Personal Insight into the Bible".

Recently, God blessed some friends of mine that were looking for work in Sacramento...one of them got hired!  Congratulations Lisa!  She and her girlfriend leave at the end of the month.  It sure seems like most people I know are either changing careers or something big is happening in their lives.  I feel a little left behind and a little unsure of how or where to proceed.  Jesus, please help me, but I'll wait until you take care of the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

If you people out there can help, then help.  The victims need clothing, food, a place to live, temporary jobs, basic necessities, bathroom supplies, money, etc.  Please pray this with me, "Lord Jesus, please have mercy on and take pity on the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.  They are in great need, their cities need rebuilding, the people need supplies and food, and a place to stay.  Many of these people have lost everything.  Please restore to them what was lost.  Help them locate family and friends and pets they have lost touch with from the disaster.  Pity them and rebuild their lives for the better.  In Jesus' name we ask you, almighty Father."

Please consider donating to the Red Cross or to some other charitable organization devoted to helping the victims of this storm.  This is the "helping neighbors in need" that Jesus spoke of when he told us the story of the good Samaritan.

Wednesday, August 31, 2005:  (12:26AM) Yesterday my horoscope read something like, "If you are staying at your job only for the paycheck you ought to consider changing careers.  What would make you happy?"  Hmmm, I'm not sure.  I would like to either get into automotive repair (which would take a long time in school going part time...many years...or about a year and a half at UTI full-time), or HVAC (Air conditioner repair, which can be done in 3 months) or electrician.  Video production would be another thing that might make me happy.  I'm almost 34 and I still don't know what I want to do in life...there are so many different things to try.  I would like to learn a craft next, maybe welding or metal work, or even carpentry.  If I could change jobs and the pay stayed the same or rose, I'd want to do something more physical than just sitting in an office in front of a computer.  What torture that has become!  Maybe something like home remodeling?

Tuesday, August 23, 2005:  (11:43PM)  Wow, time is flying.  It's been almost 2 weeks since last updating the site.  Disgusted with myself I managed to coerce my lazy body into working out while briefly breaking from jujitsu.  The energy bill tried to break me, it's series application deadline time at work, so it's hectic and I'd miss class during the week anyway due to this, plus I wanted to cure that crack between my toes on my left foot.  I can't maneuver myself well in a fight wearing socks, when the other person is barefoot and therefore has better traction.  I've tried everything.  Dr. Price (jujitsu teacher/body detective) called to see why I hadn't been coming to class.  He said not to worry about the money...he doesn't treat the school like a business, so that was cool and I explained what was happening.  Anyway, I've been keeping in shape with exercises recommended for jujitsu, mainly jumping exercises (like jump rope or trampoline).  I've used our aerobic trampoline for 40-60 minute workouts at least 4 times in the last week or so, and used the elliptical glide once.  Within days my pants were no longer painful to button.  I bought myself fat pants over the weekend anyway, and it feels like I'm walking around in the buff.  Ahhhhhhh.  Now that I've got exercise and drinking in check, it's time to work on website goodies.

Interesting trivial tidbit:  While reading the Bible the other day, I ran across the word "matrix".  The King James Version defines "matrix" as womb.  Exodus 13:12: "That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix (footnote defines it as womb), and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord's."  (this after God brought the Hebrews out of Egyptian slavery).  Exodus 13:15: "And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast; therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem."  The definition puts an interesting twist on the movie and the memorable quotes from the movie (see right frame).  Randomly going to a Psalm, I encountered another word for womb.  Psalm 71:6 notes "bowels" to be defined as "womb". Psalm 71:6: "By thee have I been holden up from the womb:  thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels (noted as defined as "womb"): my praise shall be continually of thee."

Friday, August 12, 2005:  (9:20PM)   It's all coming together as planned.  Thank you, God!  Soon I will begin transcribing all my notes on the various books of the Bible, so expect an area of personal insight, inspiration, or revelation.  Just notes, definitions, interesting tidbits, reflections, etc.

Friday, August 12, 2005:  (7:50PM)  Okay, I have managed to make animated .gif files work for me on my computer, but when I look at it in the browser, it doesn't seem to show the pic.  Let's see if it works...

Friday, August 12, 2005:  (1:56AM) Okay, the animated red pill doesn't seem to work on my computer.  However, the Haloscan graphic DOES work on my computer, but does NOT work on my computer at the job.  I wonder if the animated .gif will work when viewed from my work computer? Also, the code doesn't seem to work.   I'll need to work on that another day.

(12:39AM)  I haven't bothered updating the site in a long while simply because I manage time poorly.  I'd like to say it's that I've been soooooo busy, but I've realized I waste a great deal of time many days of the week and many times it's due to eating.  No wonder my belly makes me look like a pregnant man.  Jesus, please forgive me and strengthen me when I'm weak.  Thanks.

I've been trying to cleanse my liver and kidneys lately due to a bad case of acne that has sprung up on my chest, run up to my shoulders and down my back.  I thought it's either due to a badly clogged liver (due to persistent and excess drinking) or the conditioner rinsing down my body on a daily basis from the shower.  I've been taking homemade herbal capsules (thank you, Honey!) of a liver cleanser and a kidney cleanser, another set of herbal pills (storebought) for stones (called Stone Free), and it is a God-send as well as Dr. Price and his suggested remedies (namely pumpkin and sunflower seeds daily).  I really need to do the full liver cleanse and drink that cup of olive oil to make my gallbladder and liver spit out the stones.  I have only seen stones come out of me once and that was immediately after a colonic with apple cider vinegar.  When the bm came, I heard chink-ching-chink-ching-ching!  I looked down and there were many dozens of emerald green/black glassy things on the bottom of the toilet.  I'm sure I have many more now.

What else has been going on?  Oh, everyone at work is unsure of the status of their jobs.  A month or so ago, a City Council member (Addie Wiseman) woke up late one night, didn't like a comedy routine she saw on our channel (WTP-TV Houston's public access channel).  Well our (Houston MediaSource's) operating contract happened to expire this year at the end of June.  Long story short, she made a fuss, got us all on the news, created a big problem when none really existed, and then when the media was watching our every move, an irresponsible producer (who didn't check his tape before submitting it to air as his music video show) submitted a raw footage tape from his archives that wasn't labeled and had footage of a stag party on it, full with 3 strippers getting naked and then cleaning up before getting dressed again.  That killed us, especially since it aired the same day we had supporters go voice support for us at the city council meeting...also, it aired just before midnight during the week.  That was bad.  City council got mad, our funding and contract renewal was delayed a month, and yesterday they decided to delay it another month.  The board members will be replaced as they expire and our boss will most likely be replaced as well (which may be a good thing we've been wanting for a LONG time or it may turn out to be a bad thing).  This reminds me of a dream I had back in April or May of this year (2005) in which I was trying to get into a building on the top of a roof of a taller building, and in this building was my job.  All the doors were locked and I had no key that worked.  Also, there was a guard walking the perimeter of a lower level of the building, yet still outside the building.  I finally managed to get into a safe or a room.  Everything is covered in dust and/or cobwebs.  Everything I touch turns to decayed matter...dust.  I am back outside and look over my left shoulder to the sky.  Instead of sky I see the darkness of space and all the planets of the solar system up close and beautifully vibrant in color, all lined up from left to right in the sky.  Everything where I stood was dust or decaying, but the planets were vibrant and alive with color.

Anyway, I mentioned last time I wanted to jazz up the site a little with anything that would help.  I found a lot of animated .gif files I liked, so look out for them on the site soon.  Also, my good friend Mike (now in Dallas) has given me some code to allow me to have some info scrolling down at the bottom of the browser, so I'll see what it takes to get that to work.

Sunday, June 26, 2005:  Today we travel to Ingleside to show our nieces the Dolphin Connection.  Irv and Sonya Strong run a business in which they take people on a boat tour to visit and see dolphins in the wild.  They have named over a hundred dolphins and their newborns.  Many know Irv and Sonya and come up to the boat so people can touch the dolphins.  Irv always has a great story to tell and he can talk for a long time about dolphin life.  This is MUCH better than evil places like Seaworld in which captive dolphins must be put on anti-depressants and fed dead fish.  Also, in captivity, dolphins go crazy with their sonar bouncing off all the walls of the fake habitat.

Also, today I will try to figure out how to get comments-capability on the site.  Any other ideas so a site like this doesn't seem stagnant and dull?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thursday, June 16, 2005:  Time is just flying by.  More than a week's passed, but I haven't updated the site, nor done nearly as much as I should be doing in life.  I joined a jujitsu class last Wednesday and it's a lot more fun than I had envisioned.  I always thought of jujitsu as the most vicious martial art around, and it can be, but the classes are about control...learning the weaknesses of every fighting style, what to do once you are being attacked and how to get out of holds and locks.  I told a Christian friend of mine he should come try out a class, simply for the workout, and he declined based on its Eastern philosophies and potential occult strings.  Fair enough...the class does practice chi development, but I figure it's just a breathing exercise, and breath is life, and life is God, so in essence we are practicing good health and developing strength from proper breathing.  I argue that Jacob wrestled with either God or an angel in Genesis (Chapter 32 I believe) all night long, and wouldn't let the divine go without getting blessed first.  So, at daybreak, the divine being, having had enough, dislocates Jacob's hip to get away, and blesses him.  That's joint manipulation...aka aikido and jujitsu.  The class I'm taking is taught by the same healer that looked inside my body last year and told me that my testicle was twisted and instructed me on how to fix it myself.  He also told me I have stones in my epididymous, and a urologist didn't believe me even though I found and held the stone between my fingers.  I have since gotten scientific evidence of the stone (the urologist claimed stones don't form where I found mine...a sonogram disproves him, and I have the videotape!).

Tuesday, June 7, 2005: Alright, Microsoft Word makes nice web pages, but has no link integrity when they get published.  So, I got a web builder, and am happy with its ease of use.  Now to test it...
